Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before subscribing to or purchasing any product from Aeroveg Pte. Ltd. ("Aeroveg", "we", "us", or "our") at aeroveg.com (the "Website"). By completing a purchase or subscription through our Website, you ("Customer", "you", or "your") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not place an order or subscribe to our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aeroveg Pte. Ltd. under the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Who We Are

SFA-registered aeroponic farm. Soil-free, pesticide-free greens grown at Tuas, Singapore. Harvested the morning of your delivery.

Subscription Billing

Auto-renews every 28 days. No lock-in period. Cancel anytime before the 48-hour cut-off. Billing reminder sent 3–5 Business Days before each renewal.

Delivery

Complimentary island-wide delivery across Singapore. Delivery window: 12:00 noon – 7:00 PM on your selected day.

Quality Promise

Inspect your box within 24 hours of receipt. Report quality concerns via email or WhatsApp. Replacement provided for defective produce.

Your Data

PDPA-compliant. Data collected only for order fulfilment. Marketing opt-in is separate from these Terms. No pre-ticked boxes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes referred to Singapore Mediation Centre before legal proceedings.

Section 1

Definitions & Interpretation

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions shall apply:

  • "Agreement" means these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other document expressly incorporated by reference herein.
  • "Business Day" means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or Singapore public holiday.
  • "Subscription Box" means a curated selection of fresh aeroponic greens sold under one of Aeroveg's subscription plans as published on the Website from time to time.
  • "Billing Cycle" means the recurring 28-day billing period commencing on the date of your first successful payment.
  • "Delivery Window" means the period between 12:00 noon and 7:00 PM (SGT) on your selected delivery day, within which Aeroveg will deliver your order to your registered delivery address.
  • "GST" means the Goods and Services Tax levied under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A) of Singapore, currently at 9%.
  • "PDPA" means the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore, as amended from time to time.
  • "DPO" means Data Protection Officer, as required under the PDPA.
  • "Perishable Goods" means all fresh produce, greens, and food items supplied by Aeroveg.
  • "Acceptance Window" means the 24-hour period commencing from the time of delivery, within which a Customer may report a quality concern regarding Perishable Goods.

References to any statute or statutory provision include any subordinate legislation made under that statute or statutory provision and such statute, provision, or subordinate legislation as amended or re-enacted from time to time. The singular includes the plural and vice versa. Section headings are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Section 2

About Aeroveg & Our Products

Aeroveg Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202114551D) is a Singapore-incorporated company operating an aeroponic farm at Space@Tuas, 16C Tuas Ave 1, #07-51/53 JTC, Singapore 639535. We are a licensed and registered farm under the Singapore Food Agency ("SFA") and operate in full compliance with all applicable food safety regulations enforced by the SFA.

Aeroponic cultivation is a soil-free, high-precision growing method in which plant roots are suspended in air and nourished by a fine nutrient mist. Our produce is grown entirely within a controlled indoor environment — without pesticides, herbicides, or soil — and is harvested fresh prior to dispatch.

Our products consist of fresh, locally grown greens delivered directly from farm to doorstep via curated Subscription Boxes. Current subscription plans and their respective pricing are published on our Website and are subject to change in accordance with Section 3 of these Terms.

SFA Registration

Aeroveg is a Singapore Food Agency (SFA)-registered aeroponic farm. All produce is grown, harvested, and handled in accordance with SFA food safety standards. Our produce does not require import permits as it is locally cultivated.

Section 3

Pricing, GST & Payment

3.1   GST-Inclusive Pricing

Aeroveg Pte. Ltd. is a GST-registered entity. In full compliance with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore's ("IRAS") price display guidelines and the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, all prices displayed on our Website, product pages, advertisements, and promotional materials are fully inclusive of the prevailing GST rate of 9%. There are no hidden taxes, surcharges, or additional government levies applied at checkout beyond the price you see at the point of product display.

Current subscription plan pricing is published on the respective product pages on our Website (aeroveg.com). Aeroveg reserves the right to introduce new subscription plans, modify existing plans, or discontinue any plan at any time. In the event of a price change affecting your active subscription, you will be notified no later than 7 days prior to the commencement of the affected Billing Cycle. Your continued subscription beyond that date shall constitute your acceptance of the revised price.

3.2   Delivery Charges

Aeroveg offers complimentary island-wide delivery across Singapore for all active Subscription Box plans. No delivery fees, packaging fees, or handling surcharges will be imposed at any stage of the checkout process. The price you see on our product pages is the final, complete amount you will be charged — nothing more.

3.3   Payment Methods & Processing

All payments are processed through our secure third-party payment gateway. By providing your payment details, you authorise Aeroveg to charge the stated subscription amount on a recurring 28-day basis in accordance with Section 4 below. Aeroveg does not store your full card details on our systems; all payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processor in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

In the event a payment is declined or fails, we will make a reasonable number of retry attempts and notify you via your registered email address. Failure to resolve a payment failure within 5 Business Days may result in temporary suspension of your delivery until the outstanding amount is settled.

Price Transparency Commitment

The price shown on any Aeroveg product page is the final, complete price inclusive of GST. No mandatory fees will be added during checkout. This is our commitment under IRAS's "What You See Is What You Pay" principle. Current pricing is always available at aeroveg.com.

Section 4

Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1   Pre-Subscription Disclosure

Before you complete a subscription, the following material information will be clearly displayed to you:

  • The full charge (GST-inclusive) for your selected plan.
  • The billing frequency: once every 28 days, recurring automatically. Aeroveg bills on a fixed 28-day cycle — rather than calendar months — to ensure every billing period is identical in length regardless of whether a given month has 28, 29, 30, or 31 days. This means you will always know precisely when your next charge falls.
  • That your subscription will continue and renew every 28 days until you cancel it in accordance with Section 7 of these Terms.
  • That there is no minimum lock-in period unless a specific promotional offer expressly states otherwise, in which case such minimum term will be clearly communicated to you before purchase.

4.2   Recurring Billing & Auto-Renewal

Your subscription is a 28-day auto-renewing service. Upon completing your first payment, your first Billing Cycle commences. Every 28 days thereafter, your registered payment method will be automatically charged the applicable subscription amount then in force, unless you have cancelled in accordance with Section 7.

A 28-day cycle is used in place of a calendar month to provide billing consistency — your charge interval is always exactly 28 days, never more, never less. Over the course of a year, this results in 13 billing cycles rather than 12.

Aeroveg will send you a billing reminder via email 3 to 5 Business Days before each 28-day renewal date, stating the amount that will be charged and the exact date of the upcoming charge. This reminder is provided as a courtesy to give you adequate time to make any changes or request cancellations before the next charge.

4.3   No Minimum Commitment

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a specific promotional offer at the time of sign-up, Aeroveg subscriptions carry no minimum commitment period. You may cancel at any time, subject to the cancellation policy in Section 7.

4.4   Subscription Changes

If you wish to change your subscription plan, you may do so by contacting us via the channels set out in Section 7.2. Plan changes requested before the cut-off deadline set out in Section 7.1 will take effect from the next Billing Cycle. Changes requested after the cut-off may be applied from the following Billing Cycle.

Section 5

Delivery Terms

5.1   Delivery Area

Aeroveg provides complimentary delivery to all residential and commercial addresses within mainland Singapore and Sentosa Island. We do not currently deliver to Jurong Island, restricted zones, military installations, or any address accessible only via a security-clearance checkpoint unless prior arrangements have been made.

5.2   Delivery Day Selection

At the time of subscription, you will be required to select your preferred weekly delivery day before proceeding to checkout. The day you select will become your regular recurring delivery day for the duration of your subscription. Deliveries will occur on that same day every week within your active Billing Cycle.

If you wish to change your designated delivery day, please contact us at least 48 Business Hours before your next scheduled delivery via the channels set out in Section 7.2. Changes are subject to slot availability and will be confirmed by our team in writing.

5.3   Delivery Window

All deliveries are made between 12:00 noon and 7:00 PM (SGT) on your selected delivery day. We are unable to guarantee a specific time within this window, as actual delivery times are subject to route sequencing and logistics conditions on the day. You will receive a dispatch notification on the morning of your delivery day.

Aeroveg shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, road conditions, third-party courier disruptions, or force majeure events.

5.4   Successful Delivery & Unattended Premises

If no person is available to receive the delivery at your registered address, our delivery team will follow the instructions provided at checkout (e.g., leave at door, leave with security). Where no special instructions are given, the delivery team may leave the package in a safe, sheltered location. Aeroveg will not be held responsible for deterioration or loss of produce left at an unattended address per the Customer's instructions or absence.

5.5   Incorrect Delivery Address

It is the Customer's responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address at the time of subscription. In the event of a failed delivery or return caused by an incorrect address provided by the Customer, any re-delivery charge (if applicable) will be communicated to you in advance. Aeroveg shall not be liable for spoilage resulting from an incorrect address supplied by the Customer.

Important — Refrigerate Immediately Upon Receipt

Aeroveg's produce is harvested fresh and is best stored cold. We strongly advise that you refrigerate your greens immediately upon receiving your delivery. Remove the produce from the refrigerator only when you are ready to use it. Prompt refrigeration preserves freshness, flavour, and nutritional value. Deterioration resulting from delayed refrigeration after delivery is not the responsibility of Aeroveg.

Section 6

Freshness Promise & Perishable Goods

6.1   Our Freshness Promise

Aeroveg is an SFA-registered aeroponic farm. All produce is grown in a soil-free, controlled indoor environment, harvested fresh, and handled in accordance with food safety best practices before dispatch. We take considerable pride in the quality and freshness of every box we deliver. Our produce is grown without soil, pesticides, or herbicides, and is typically harvested within 24 hours of dispatch.

6.2   Acceptance Window & Quality Reporting

Given the perishable nature of our products, Customers must inspect their delivery within 24 hours of receipt (the "Acceptance Window") and notify Aeroveg of any quality concern during this period. This standard is consistent with reasonable commercial practice for fresh produce businesses in Singapore.

For the purpose of these Terms, a quality defect is defined as produce that is demonstrably unfit for human consumption upon delivery — including but not limited to produce that is visibly rotten, mouldy, insect-infested, or delivered in a significantly damaged state rendering it inedible. Aesthetic imperfections that do not affect the safety or nutritional quality of the greens shall not constitute a defect.

To report a quality concern, please contact us within the Acceptance Window via the channels listed in Section 7.2, providing:

  • Your full name and registered email address or phone number;
  • Your order number or subscription reference;
  • A clear photograph of the affected produce.

6.3   Produce Not Eligible for Return

As all our products are fresh perishable goods, the following circumstances do not qualify for a refund or replacement:

  • Change of Mind: Once a fresh produce order has been delivered, it cannot be returned on grounds of a change of mind, unwillingness to consume, or preference for a different product. Perishable goods cannot be restocked or resold once delivered.
  • Unreported Quality Issues: Quality concerns reported after the 24-hour Acceptance Window cannot be accepted, as we are unable to verify the condition of the produce after this period.
  • Improper Storage: Deterioration arising from improper storage after delivery (e.g., produce left unrefrigerated for extended periods) is not the responsibility of Aeroveg.
  • Natural Variation: Natural variation in colour, size, texture, or leaf shape that does not affect edibility is inherent to fresh produce and shall not constitute a defect.
Perishables Policy — Key Point

Our products are living, freshly harvested greens. Please inspect your box upon delivery and refrigerate immediately. Report any quality concerns to us within 24 hours of receipt. Reports made after this window cannot be actioned.

Section 7

Cancellation, Modification & Pausing

7.1   Cancellation Cut-Off

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next Billing Cycle, your cancellation request must be received and confirmed by Aeroveg no later than 48 Business Hours before your next scheduled billing date.

Cancellation requests received after this cut-off will take effect from the following Billing Cycle. Any delivery already dispatched or any charge already processed within the cut-off window shall not be reversed.

7.2   How to Cancel or Modify

In line with the CCCS guidelines on fair subscription practices, cancelling or modifying your Aeroveg subscription is as straightforward as signing up. You may reach us through the following channels:

Our team operates during Singapore business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM SGT). We will confirm your cancellation, modification, or pause in writing — typically within 1 Business Day.

7.3   Subscription Pausing

We understand that circumstances change. If you wish to temporarily pause your subscription rather than cancel it, please contact us via the above channels. Pause requests are subject to availability and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. During a confirmed pause period, no charges will be levied.

7.4   Post-Cancellation

Upon confirmed cancellation, you will receive a written confirmation from Aeroveg. You will continue to receive any delivery that has already been scheduled and paid for in the current Billing Cycle. No further charges will be made after the effective cancellation date. Aeroveg will process any data deletion request in accordance with Section 9 of these Terms.

Section 8

Refund & Replacement Policy

8.1   No Refunds on Subscription Charges

All subscription charges collected by Aeroveg are strictly non-refundable, whether in full or on a pro-rated basis. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that once a Billing Cycle charge has been processed, that charge will not be reversed under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • A change of mind after payment;
  • A decision to cancel your subscription partway through a Billing Cycle;
  • Non-consumption or wastage of the delivered produce;
  • Personal circumstances arising after the charge has been processed.

The correct course of action if you no longer wish to continue your subscription is to cancel in accordance with Section 7. Upon cancellation confirmed before the cut-off period set out in Section 7.1, no further charges will be made from the next Billing Cycle onwards. The current Billing Cycle will run to its natural conclusion and the associated delivery will be fulfilled as scheduled.

8.2   Replacement for Defective Produce

Where a legitimate quality defect is reported within the Acceptance Window in accordance with Section 6.2, Aeroveg's remedy shall be to provide a replacement of the affected items at no additional cost to the Customer. This is consistent with our obligations under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A) in respect of perishable goods.

A monetary refund in lieu of replacement will be considered only where a replacement is not reasonably practicable (e.g., the item is entirely unavailable). In such cases, a partial credit or refund limited to the value of the specific affected item(s) — and not the full subscription charge — may be offered at Aeroveg's discretion.

8.3   Missed Delivery Caused by Aeroveg

In the event that Aeroveg fails entirely to deliver your subscription box on your scheduled delivery day due to reasons solely attributable to Aeroveg (and not to incorrect customer information, inaccessible premises, force majeure, or other circumstances outside our control), Aeroveg will arrange a replacement delivery at the earliest available opportunity. If a replacement delivery cannot be arranged within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund of the affected Billing Cycle charge will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 Business Days.

8.4   Goodwill Gestures

Aeroveg may, at its sole discretion, offer account credits, complimentary add-ons, or extended subscription periods as goodwill gestures in circumstances that do not strictly qualify under Section 8.2 or 8.3. Such goodwill gestures shall not constitute an admission of liability and shall not create any precedent or obligation in future claims.

Refund Policy — Key Points

All subscription charges are non-refundable, in full or on a pro-rated basis. To stop future charges, cancel before the 48 Business Hour cut-off — your next Billing Cycle will not be charged. Defective produce reported within 24 hours → replacement. Missed delivery caused by Aeroveg → full refund of that cycle's charge.

Section 9

Data Protection & PDPA

9.1   Data Controller & DPO

Aeroveg Pte. Ltd. is the data controller in respect of all personal data collected through our Website and subscription services. In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"), Aeroveg has appointed a Data Protection Officer ("DPO").

To exercise any of your rights under the PDPA, or to raise a data protection concern, please contact our DPO at: support@aeroveg.com

9.2   Data We Collect & Purpose of Collection

Aeroveg collects only the personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes set out below. We do not collect unnecessary personal information. The data we collect and the reason for collection are as follows:

  • Full name and delivery address — for the purpose of fulfilling your delivery.
  • Email address and phone number — for order confirmations, billing reminders, subscription updates, and customer service communications.
  • Payment details — processed exclusively by our third-party payment gateway; Aeroveg does not store card numbers or CVV data.
  • Subscription preferences — to manage your selected plan and any modifications thereto.

We do not collect date of birth, NRIC, nationality, or any other personal data that is not required to fulfil your subscription, unless you voluntarily provide such information in the course of a customer service interaction.

9.3   Third-Party Disclosure

Aeroveg may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties, solely for the purposes described:

  • Third-party logistics providers and courier services — your name, delivery address, and contact number are shared with our delivery partners solely for the purpose of completing your delivery.
  • Payment gateway provider(s) — your payment data is transmitted to and processed by our payment gateway partner (e.g., Stripe, HitPay, or equivalent) in accordance with their respective privacy policies and PCI-DSS standards.
  • Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform provider, which processes order data as part of our store infrastructure.

Aeroveg does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

9.4   Marketing Communications — Opt-In Required

Aeroveg will not send you marketing emails, SMS messages, or WhatsApp broadcasts unless you have expressly opted in to receive such communications. Marketing consent is obtained separately from your agreement to these Terms of Service — agreeing to these Terms does not constitute consent to marketing communications.

All marketing opt-in checkboxes on our Website are un-ticked by default. You must perform an affirmative action to opt in. You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.

9.5   Data Retention

Aeroveg retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law (including tax and accounting obligations). Upon termination of your subscription, we will retain your data for a period of 5 years to comply with IRAS record-keeping requirements, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

9.6   Your Rights Under the PDPA

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you.

Correct

Request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold.

Withdraw Consent

Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.

Request Deletion

Request deletion of your personal data where Aeroveg is no longer legally required to retain it.

To exercise any of the above rights, please submit a written request to our DPO at support@aeroveg.com. We will respond within 30 days of receipt of your request, in accordance with PDPA requirements.

PDPA Compliance Note

Your data is collected only for order fulfilment and subscription management. We do not use pre-ticked marketing boxes. Consent to these Terms ≠ consent to marketing. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing our DPO.

Section 10

Health Claims, Nutritional Information & Content Disclaimer

10.1   Nutritional Claims

Aeroveg may make statements on its Website, product pages, packaging, social media channels, and marketing materials regarding the nutritional composition of its produce — including, by way of example, references to the presence of vitamins (such as Vitamin C, Vitamin K, or folate), minerals, antioxidants, dietary fibre, or other naturally occurring compounds. All such statements are based on information derived from published scientific literature, nutritional databases, independent studies, and research conducted by third parties, including academic institutions and recognised food science bodies.

These nutritional statements reflect the general and well-established properties of the named plant species and are not unique claims manufactured by Aeroveg. Customers are encouraged to review the underlying research and studies independently. Where specific research is referenced, Aeroveg will endeavour to provide or link to the relevant source.

10.2   No Guarantee of Specific Health Outcomes

Whilst Aeroveg's produce may support a healthy lifestyle as part of a balanced diet, Aeroveg makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty that consuming its products will produce any specific health result or outcome for any individual Customer. Health outcomes are influenced by a wide range of variables including, but not limited to, individual physiology, pre-existing medical conditions, overall diet, lifestyle, level of physical activity, age, genetics, and medication use. These variables are entirely beyond Aeroveg's knowledge or control.

Any results, benefits, or improvements described in connection with Aeroveg products — whether on the Website, in blog content, in advertising, or on social media — represent possible outcomes for individuals maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. They are illustrative in nature and are not a promise or guarantee of results for any specific customer.

10.3   Supplement to Diet — Not a Complete Dietary Plan

Aeroveg's Subscription Boxes are designed to be a fresh, convenient, and nutritious supplement to your existing diet. They are not intended to constitute, and should not be treated as, a complete dietary or meal plan. Aeroveg's products are one component of a healthy, varied diet and are intended to complement — not replace — a well-rounded nutritional regime.

Customers are advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional, registered dietitian, or nutritionist before making significant changes to their diet, particularly if they are pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, or are under the care of a physician.

10.4   No Medical Claims

Nothing on Aeroveg's Website, packaging, or marketing materials constitutes a medical claim. Aeroveg's products are food items, not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic products, and are not regulated as such by the Health Sciences Authority ("HSA") of Singapore. Aeroveg does not claim that its products can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Health Claims — Plain Summary

Our nutritional statements are grounded in published research on the plants we grow — they are not invented claims. However, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific health result for you personally, as individual outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control. Our boxes are a step towards a healthier lifestyle, not a complete solution. Our blog content is thoroughly researched but is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Singapore, Aeroveg's aggregate liability to any Customer arising out of or in connection with these Terms (whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) shall be limited to the total amount paid by that Customer in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Aeroveg shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings, even if Aeroveg has been advised of the possibility of such losses.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit Aeroveg's liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by Aeroveg's negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

Aeroveg does not warrant that our Website will be continuously available, free from errors, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Aeroveg will not be liable for any disruption to access to the Website caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Section 12

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

In the event of any dispute, Aeroveg encourages Customers to contact us in the first instance to seek an amicable resolution. Please write to us at support@aeroveg.com with the subject line "Dispute — [Your Order Number]". We will endeavour to resolve all disputes within 14 Business Days of receipt of your written complaint.

If a resolution cannot be reached through direct correspondence, either party may refer the dispute to the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) for mediation before commencing any legal proceedings. Both parties agree to participate in good faith in any such mediation.

Subject to the foregoing, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect of any legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Section 13

Amendments to These Terms

Aeroveg reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Where changes are material — including changes to pricing, cancellation policy, or data handling practices — we will notify active subscribers via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The effective date of the revised Terms will be updated at the top of this document.

Your continued use of our Website or your continued subscription after the effective date of any amendment shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 7 before the changes take effect.

The most current version of these Terms is always available at aeroveg.com/pages/terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
